Federation Commander: Border Box #9 Feature
Border Box #9 contains 24 pewter, 1/3788 scale space ships from the Star Trek Universe. They come with plastic stands to give them the appearance of flying. Some ships, and all the stands, require minor assembly. The ships are unpainted.
A streamlined version of Star Fleet Battles, Federation Commander lets players take control of every ship of the Star Trek Universe. Federation Commander has two sets of combat rules, the simplified Fleet game, intended for large battles, and the more detailed Squadron rules, giving players more control over individual ships.
The Federation Commander system is vast, with many modules and accessories available. There are several core games available, each being a complete game by itself. Supplements add additional ship designs and rules to the game, but require one or more core games to play. A large line of miniatures is available, suitable for display as well as for game play.
The miniatures are suitable for display, or they can be used in the the Federation Commander or Star Fleet Battles games.

The K'Vort-class is a light cruiser, armed with disruptor cannons mounted on the tips of the wings and a forward torpedo launcher. The K'Vort-class possesses an extra two ship-mounted disruptor banks and a second torpedo launcher, equipped with cloaking devices and is capable of impulse and warp speeds. The K'Vort-class measures 320 meters and possesses a crew of 300+. The Klingon Bird-of-Prey is built for warp speeds and can operate and land in terrestrial environments. The K'Vort version of the Bird-of-Prey is quite larger than the older B'rel-class model. The most intriguing feature of this ship is its infamous cloaking device, which prevents the ship from being detected by both eyes and sensors. The Bird-of-Prey, however, cannot fire missles while the cloaking mechanism is operating. The Klingons have attempted to solve this technical glitch, and once built a prototype that could fire torpedoes while still hidden with the cloaking device. Subsequent production models of the Bird-of-Prey have not mastered this experimental weapons-cloaking technology. Secret Federation plans have utilized the Bird-of-Prey: Captain Picard and Lt. Data once used a cloaked Bird-of-Pray to enter Romulan space and contact Mr. Spock, who was attempting to reunify the Vulcans and Romulans peacefully. Most recently the renagade Duras sisters used a Bird-of-Prey in suspicious dealing with Yridians.

Our series of exclusive Battlestar Galactica products from Diamond Select Toys continues with a battle-damaged Galactica statue as it appeared from Season 3 on. The Galactica sought out to rescue those stranded on New Caprica and it was during this mission's battle with the Cylons that the ship received some hull damage and scarring. This statue measures approximately 15 inches long and was created with the digital production files used on the series and sculpted by Art Asylum. It also includes two extra smaller pods so you can display the Galactica when it uses the FTL drive, thus retracting the pods.
